myself being more knowledgable....

...and understanding the need of a glove while playing golf

sunny 27 °C

One thing being a student is great. I can try out all those sports I would otherwise never get the chance to, or never even think about. Like this I tried out rowing, and I actually got asked to participate in the womens racing team, because apparently my thighs are "perfect" for rowing. What a compliment!!

Last week I tried out golf, which I thought was for elderly rich, or young spoiled brats...and that it is NO sport at all...

How wrong I was...after a couple hours hitting the golf ball, the first blisters started to show up...and normally don't get blisters on my hands easily (know that from years of horsback riding and now rowing)

The next morning,my back was sore, as well as my hands and somewhere just below my elbow. And our golf instructer didn't have any mercy, we had to contiune playing until 5 o'clock on Sunday afternoon...

I've changed my mind (is not the first time, and won't be the last time) about golf being a sissy sport...
