A Travellerspoint blog

a person who does not faint when seeing blood....

...and does know it now for sure!!

all seasons in one day 25 °C

If you can pack everything in one evening...then it was the evening I've "survived" 3 weeks ago in Zürich. It ended in the hospital....

but first thing first...

I went with a couple friends to Zürich for a BBQ. Everything was fine, we met some nice guys in the park (only about 8 years younger than us), had a couple beers...and some more...

at 4 p.m. there was just us (6 girls in mid-twenties) and about 10 young guys from Arabic-background left. The atmosphere became more and more agressiv...so we thought we are on the safe side and leave...

after another stop at the 24/7 gas station some of us decided it would be nice to swim in the lake...and there it happend, one of my friend cut her foot...all the way accross her sole, there was blood everywhere, and some of us were so drunk not even seeing how serious that was...anyway we managed to carrie her to the street to fetch a taxi (the cut was deep but not life-threatening). But the taxi driver refused to take her because his seats could become dirty!! So we had to call the ambulance, which showed up 10 minutes later...

I'm wondering what they thought of us...

But one thing has to be mentioned, I reacted very well, and did not have any problem with the blood, this is something important to know, isnt't it...

It might be a bit a disappointing report for those who expected more...but believe me, there was more, which I did not dare to write down!!! ;-)
